This units explains how to set up and manage a classroom. It covers topics such as which seating arrangements are appropriate, how a teacher should deal with issues such as establishing rapport, giving it out instructions, maintaining discipline and when to take control of the class and when to sit back and let the students interact with each other. I have learnt how important it is to make sure I am prepared and in control of my class at all times and to adapt based on the stage and situation of the lesson.
