In this unit I've learned about the future tenses, particularly the seven most common ones i.e. the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, the "be going" + infinitive, the present simple, and the present simple continuous. I have learned about the structures of the tenses in detail, their usages, the common mistakes students usually make when using them, and the sample teaching ideas for each tense. I've also kept a special note on how the 'be going to' future's usage is frequently confused with the future simple, and how the two structures need to be taught together to help students appreciate the differences.
