This unit introduces and explores the basic principles of grammar in the English language by deconstructing basic sentences, and labeling and categorizing words in those sentences. These basic principles of grammar appear to be quite obvious at first, but it is another thing to be able to explain it to others. So what this unit has taught me, aside from refreshing my memory on the primary rules of grammar, is to look at how I can teach these rules to my students in an uncomplicated way.
