This unit spoke about 2 receptive skills; listening and speaking. It gave different reasons for why we read/listen. It also gave suggestions on how we can get learners to practice these skills. This unit stated what is important to keep in mind when designing a receptive skill lesson and stated the importance in keeping the audio/visual text interesting and relevant to learners. There was a sample text with worksheets at the end of the unit.
