This unit refreshed me on some important aspects of language teaching. Because motivation is important, I must inspire students' desire to learn by enthusiasm for teaching, organizing activities that will involve students, and continuing to grow in my own knowledge. It's important to be aware of the age, level, and cultural background of the learners to best fit the approach and material to their needs. While I was already aware of the different learning levels, I was unfamiliar with the European index, which is good to know. I enjoyed this unit because it prompted me to reflect on my teaching and how I can best help my students.
