This unit covered the present tenses. It described the present simple, the present progressive, the present perfect, and the present perfect continuous. Each section covered the positive, negative and question forms as well as the usages. In addition, each section also included typical student error sentences with activate stage ideas.
In this section, I learned the ways of forming the positive, negative, and question forms for each tense. The most helpful parts of the unit were the student error sentences and the activate stage ideas. The error sentences helped me to use the knowledge learned from the forms and usages sections to check and correct mistakes. The activate stage ideas were a helpful resource to have to refer to later. This is what I learned in unit four.
