Unit 13 deals with coursebooks and lesson materials. It is possible to use authentic materials and creative materials. Authentic materials such as newspapers, books, songs, films, menus etc. are very effective way to make the lesson engaging, informative and useful. Creative materials such as crosswords, word search puzzles, role-play cards etc. can be used in order to replace a coursebook materials. They are also effectively applied in teaching and can be created by a teacher for students considering their level and interests.
