This unit went over the different kinds of present tenses. It was interesting because I used to think that present tenses were really only used to describe actions that were happening in the moment, but it can be used to describe actions that have happened in the past but are still true now. The tenses are present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I can see how this would be very frustrating not only to teach but to learn, simply because of all the intricate rules and exceptions. Especially adding in the rules about since/for and been/gone. Very interesting!
