I am currently teaching high school history at a U.S. public school, so the information in this unit about the roles of teachers, and common mistakes teachers make was not new information for me; however, the breakdown of the different stages of language learning as well as the differentiation between different ages of learners was very helpful. While I had a vague understanding of these things from my own language learning experiences, having the information given explicitly is very helpful. It will allow me to more clearly and effectively evaluate future students and their needs to be able to better teach them.
