The chapter on present tenses was intimidating when I read through it the first time. However, after reviewing the chapter I realized that the “formulas” provided for each present tense (for example be+ verb-ing) provide an easy method of remembering and understanding the 4 present tenses. The teaching ideas seem to be geared more towards older students rather than young children which is my interest. But I think most can be modified/simplified to make them more appropriate for younger learners.
