This unit talks about the different tests teachers can use to find out more about student's level and progress. For instance, placement tests are given to students to find out their level of proficiency and place them in the correct class. Progress tests are used to find out if students are learning the way they should. Diagnostics tests inform teachers about the material students are familiar with and help teacher plan accordingly. Practice tests prepare students for the general external tests. The unit also talks about tutoring and when is a good time for this. For instance it is recommended to do this at the end of the week and during the last few minutes of class. That way material that was covered during he week can be reviewed according to the students' needs.
