The given unit has been very informative in relation to teaching Engligh language. I noticed that a wide range of notions, tecniques and methodologies presented in the unit I have already been using while my teaching practise, although I truly recognize that having all this information well-organised and enriched by new theory, examples and ideas is of so much importance for a teacher. The very useful point of this unit is that it helps a teacher to re-evaluate his/her previous experience with students, like for example the section talking about giving feedback, a skill which I personally have to develop and perfect quite a lot.
The ESA methodology is complete new for me, although I must say that merely basing on intuition I have been practicing some of the ESA elements, but again, with no good stucture.
The unit has been in some way difficult to follow and remember all the new information, but as a teacher with some practice behind my back I am now so excited that I feel like trying the new strategies in my lessons as soon as possible.
