This unit discusses the importance of planning, what should be included in a lesson plan, and examples of forms for planning and evaluating lessons. As a long-established teacher, I've planned many lessons and can't imagine going into a classroom without some kind of lesson plan. I completely agree with the principles of balancing organization and flexibility and of having a variety of activities. The idea of including personal aims in a lesson plan is new to me.
