This unit discussed classroom management including what the teacher should do to maintain preferred classroom management, options for student grouping and classroom layout, and ways to address problems. Most of the content from this lesson was already familiar to me, as I am currently a teacher, however, I appreciated the list of ways to build rapport. It gave me a reminder of some good strategies so I can be sure to use them going forward. This was useful as many of these strategies are used heavily at the beginning of the year and then taper off later once rapport has been built, so having the reminder of them will make it more likely that I will reuse them again next year.
