One thing that really stuck out to me when watching these videos is how important the teacher's attitude and presence is and how that can affect the students and their learning. The demeanor of the teacher in the two videos made such a difference, in the second video the teacher smiled, introduced himself, and greeted everyone but in the first video he immediately started teaching which was a little strange and uncomfortable. I took the part of a student while watching, and in the first video I was very confused and not understanding at times (even though I am a native English speaker!), but in the second one I was following the lesson a lot better and could understand what was happening.
