This unit describes different types of teachers and learners. What I found most compelling is the different types of roles a teacher can play in the classroom. In reflecting upon my early education I had assumed that most of my teachers would fall into the manager role but I realize now that they actually employed different styles throughout the lesson. I will now may an effort to consider the best approach for each lesson and also not limit myself to 1 type of role.
