In this unit I learned about the different resources that can be used during teaching a foreign language like those I was familiar with (smartboards, overhead projectors, and worksheets) and those I had not given as much consideration to before (for example, the video camera). While I can see the benefit of many of these resources, I remain unconvinced by some, such as the video camera. What troubles me about the video camera is privacy, especially within the context of smartphone cameras being used instead of a single video camera controlled by the teacher (where I still would have concerns about student privacy). So that is one thing in this unit, with which I neither agree nor plan on using. But the other sections were still very helpful.
