In this unit I went over past tense verbs and refreshed my understanding of the differences between these tenses. I think the hardest part for students to learn will be the irregular past simple verbs because there are so many and they don't follow any rules. So you're students are just going to have to memorize them, which I know is hard for me so I think it will be hard for students learning those words for the first time.
