There are many different future tense forms in the English language. Like present tense and past tense, there are the four basic tenses that apply to future as well. These are simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. Future simple is formed by combining the subject + will + verb. Future continuous is formed by combining the subject + will + be + verb(ing). Future perfect is formed by using subject + will + have + verb. Future perfect continuous is formed by using subject + will + have + been + verb. In addition to these main ones, the future tense also has three additional tenses. These are the "going to" tense, the present simple and present continuous with future implications.
