In this unit I learned the about the importance of creating a lesson plan when teaching. It is very useful because I can use it as reference in the future and also a substitute teacher will be able to cover class because the material will be provided and students can continue without the teacher. Also, I learned about what should be included. This includes : objectives for students and teacher, materials, time allocation, procedure, phase, etc. Lesson planning will make teaching students a simple task. At the same time it should be kept simple and flexible to help cover the needs of students.
