Workbooks are useful and there are many advantages to using them but you have to be able to adapt to your students. I think I would actually enjoy creating materials so I would probably add to the lessons in the workbook to make more interesting or to keep with topic. I am still working on sorting out all my ESA phases even now on Unit 14. I think if it was possible to hand in task sheets along the way to get feedback before the final assignment it would be very helpful.
