The material in this unit was fairly straightforward and I did not find any particular difficulties with it. However, I found that the "equations" shown to shape each form and the example sentences were lacking in comparison to the previous Past Tense and Present Tense units.
It was simple enough to figure out how an affirmative Future Simple phrase was going to be formed, or how to form the negative Future Perfect Continuous, but compared to the very clear structures we had been presented before, this unit was lacking that strong clarity.
The example sentences made it a little difficult to fully grasp each form at first: the Future Perfect and Future Perfect Continuous forms both used "work" as the example verb for the Affirmative, Negative, and Yes/No Question examples, with no variation. This made it difficult for me to think of other verbs that could potentially be used within those forms, as it felt like I had had no other potential options shown to me. The incomplete sentences used as examples presented the same difficulties to me: "He will not have been working...," "Will you have worked...?" "She will not have worked..." made it difficult to envision situations in which I would use these forms because it felt like I was being provided with such loose examples of their usage.
