In this unit, we learned about the advantages and disadvantages of coursebooks and different lesson materials. As a good TESOL teacher, we should have a good balance of using the authentic materials and created materials and also should know how to making the best use of the course book. We should create a balanced lesson; don't use the course book all the time; don't rely on the information presented; and match the material given to the students' need.
