In this unit, i had learnt about the five main conditionals and how to change the direct speech into the report speech. The five main conditionals are the zero conditional, which is about the irrefutable truth. The first conditional is about a real situation in the future that is possible, probable or even certain to come true. Second conditional is about the dreams, fantasies, a present or future 'unreal', hypothetical situation that is presently not true and is unlikely ever to be true. The third conditional is about the regrets or excuses. The mixed conditional is a present result of an imaginary situation. For the mixed conditional, it combines the second and the third conditional, and it refers to a hypothetical past action or state, and the hypothetical present consequence.
