This unit has covered some basic language learning methodologies, as well as clearly explained and demonstrated the ESA method which was designed by Jeremey Harmer; which is the language learning methodology upon which this course is structured.
Most of what I have grasped from this unit has been new information for me. I have acquired some valuable knowledge about the earlier language learning methodologies as well as the detail and process of this ESA methodology. I have also learnt quite a bit about error correction; understanding mainly that errors are not the same as mistakes. I have acquired knowledge on some fun and engaging, educational games and activities which will certainly help me as I put them to use in the classroom.
