This unit covered the different types/techniques and practices for teaching English in a classroom setting. The lesson went in-depth on the Engage Study Activate lesson type and gave many examples of things that could be done at each stage of an ESA lesson. I learned quite a bit of info about ESA from this lesson, and the examples of what could be done in each part of the lesson were very helpful and practical. The different teaching techniques other than ESA were interesting to read about and have helped give e ideas on what to avoid and/or how to mix different teaching techniques in the classroom.
