I had not considered arrangement of a class to have much bearing on discipline. In fact, when I think of managing a class, I have thought mostly of young students who have no desire to be in school,and have no cultural respect for a teachers authority. i.e. American schools
Discipline, of course, immediately suggests an uncooperative student.The focus of the chapter is more on organization and creating rapport in the class room, in order to prevent problems.
