Unit nine shows the importance of planning, and even more for new teachers. It also says that some theories believe that lesson plans might not be a good idea since they can create a more rigid and teacher centered lesson. But planning has important reasons to be done, it can help you predict and solve problems, it can be a record document, it can help you to self assess after teaching a lesson, helps a lot with time management, etc. The greatest part of this Unit is being able to look at a competed lesson plan but also have a clean template to plan lessons.
