Unit 20 explained how to troubleshoot the various problems, and situations that might arise in class. When dealing with a new class, the teacher should utilize the first meeting as a way to build rapport not only between themselves and their students, but between the individual students as well. Next the difficulties of teaching large classes were given, as well as how to remedy such situation. Next, the reasons as to why a student might revert to using their native language was explained. How to help build confidence in students that have little confidence in speaking English was also given. Lastly, the difficulties in using recorded dialogue were also explained, and insight as to how to avoid the coinciding difficulties were also given.
