This unit is of a paramount importance as it explains the importance and the possible meanings of Future in general. The variety of future tense, be it simple, continuous, or perfect is really peculiar. It is important to remember that it is expressing more than simply the time of the action or event. Obviously, any 'future' tense will always refer to a time 'later than now', but it may also express the attitude to the future event. Prediction, arrangement, plans and intentions, an action in progress, etc, all of these usages make the Future tense specific.
