This was new information for me. I learned about the different types of present tenses. Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present perfect, all of these types of tenses that allowed me to understand why I use the sentences that I do. Situations call for certain types of responses and questions, and now I can explain it to others. I can show them how to form a sentence properly without it sounding like a broken toddler’s statement. Instead of “I hungry” it would be said “ I am hungry”. Now I know how to help learners go from speaking like a child to speaking like an adult.
