This unit was particularly interesting as it gives visual examples of two different teaching methods and illustrates that the success or effectiveness of a lesson relies heavily on the teachers attitude. The students in both videos responded very different to the teachers approach and it was interesting to see this in a real classroom setting. Within the first few minutes of each video, it was clear that each lesson would lead to different results. I also notes the different use of body language in these videos. The teachers approach in video 2 shows that’s the teacher is open and inviting which also makes the students feel at ease and comfortable to participate and make mistakes.
