I found it very useful to watch 2 lessons and compare them. This is a more effective way to notice the important details as an observer and as a student too.
It is important for teachers to lead the students into the lesson, and to remember that new concept must be well explained, because this is not their mother tongue and it is more difficult for them to understand some grammar rules.
IT is also important to plan the lesson. The teacher in the first lesson was not ready for his lesson. Whereas in the second lesson we can see that he was ready. We can see this clearly from the students' attitude, they were able to participate in the second lesson because they understood the grammar lesson.
