This unit provides a clear description of key aspects of English phonology and also informs teachers’ decisions about how to teach pronunciation. During the course of the unit, I understand and review key terms and concepts in phonology and phonetics which I believe, will be very helpful in teaching these properties of English language. I very much enjoyed reading this unit. It provides comprehensive knowledge in pronunciation teaching and learning as well as covering the phonology and phonetics of English in a highly informative and clear way. I particularly appreciated a number of useful explanations and exercises.
