This unit covers teaching new grammar structures, vocabulary and language functions. After reading this unit, it is easier to relate to teaching parts of language as grammar, vocabulary or function and to think of relevant Engage-Study-Activate activities for each part. I feel it is important to know how to select grammar, vocabulary or functions to teach, even though usually I follow the suggested textbook units with my students.
