This unit was particularly helpful to see an example of an effective teaching strategy and an ineffective teaching strategy. It was helpful to watch an ESA lesson and to think about how the different teaching techniques and ways of organizing a lesson can look like. It was also helpful to see how a grammar point could be explained and then see what kind of activities could be used to activate the study section of a lesson. It was also helpful to see how the flow of a class can go and look like, what kinds of questions the teacher asks throughout the lesson and how a teacher can vary their questions, elicitation techniques and teaching strategies throughout a lesson.
