Unit 10 revolves around two videos of lesson content. In one video the teacher makes basic errors and the content of the lesson is not communicated efficiently to the students. On the other hand, in the second video, the teacher conducts a very engaging class and the students find it easier to absorb the information given. Watching both videos and recognising which lesson is more efficient has given me confidence when it comes to teaching. Being able to see a class in progress is insightful and these videos have taught me about the practical side of teaching English as a foreign language. I now know how important it is to engage the class as well as to have a good attitude while teaching. The way the teacher goes about a lesson influences the learning done by students and thus is extremely significant.
