This unit covered the importance of lesson planning. I think the most important part about lesson planning is flexibility and understanding the level of your students. I think it is helpful to use the ESA approach to plan activities as well as structure the flow of a lesson. However, it can be difficult to determine how many parts each phase should have and which part should come before the other.
