This unit starts with first time lessons and goes on to explain the difference between new and existing groups and things that need to be accomplished with them first and foremost. Those things include establishing rapport and a relationship between student and teacher, and if new groups than doing the same between the students as a whole. Useful activities and advice are given to use as a guideline. Reason for using warmers, essentially to comfort and warm up the class is explain and further examples given. Other problems discussed are large groups of students, groups where the students are at different levels and reluctant students. Explanation of how these issue can be problematic are touched upon and useful information is implemented.
