The unit covered potential problems with teaching students. I think the most nerve-wracking of the would be the first lesson, as so much rides on the first lesson. I like the idea of not using the coursebook right away and working on establishing rapport and making students feel comfortable in that situation. In my classes of younger students, there are reluctant students who do not seem interested in learning or speaking English. It can be challenging to engage them but like the unit suggests, I don't force them to participate but instead let them work in non-threatening groups or pairs.
