In this unit I have reviewed the present tense. The first is the present simple, which we use to express habits, routines and facts. The second is the present continuous, which we use to talk about actions that are in progress. The other two forms are present perfect and present perfect continuous; the former is a verbal form that links the past to the present, while the latter has the same link past to present but expressing an ongoing activity.
