This unit focused on the 4 past tenses. They are the 'past simple', 'past perfect', 'past continuous' and the 'past perfect continuous' tenses. It is easy to distinguish between continuous tenses and the others because they have -ing in their sentences. Perfect tense sentences always involve more than one verb. I have found that completing tasks is a much better way of taking in this information than by simply reading about them.
