Listening is a valuable skill that is frequently overlooked. It is a skill that most people believe they have, but they do not. I must admit that there are times, when I am listening to someone talking and I start to work on a situation in my head. The person hasn't told me all of the facts, before I try to solve the problem. There was a solution at the end and I didn't need to try and solve anything. It is easy to want to try and fix something with our knowledge and know how. The hard part is listening to all of the facts first.
