This unit focuses on lesson planning - whether we should use them, how they should be written down, how to be organised, what to put into a lesson plan and how to monitor the lessons. It also goes into how to plan a sequence of lessons. I learned that a beginner teacher should have lessons planned but as you gain experience you can rely on them less and less, which would enable you to be more flexible.
