This unit taught conditionals and reported speech. I learned a lot about conditionals, including the fact that there are different kinds of conditionals. For example, there is the Zero Conditional, First Conditional, Second, Third, and Mixed Conditional. They all apply to different situations in speech, and use different if or when + verb forms. The unit also provided some teaching techniques for conditionals, such as completing blank conditionals and split sentences. Additionally, in regards to reported speech, the unit showed how the verbs change and how the time expressions change when reporting direct speech from the past.
