Unit Five was about managing the classroom. Different factors can help in maintaining control of the classroom. Factors such as eye contact, voice, use of student names, class layout, rapport, etc. can affect how a teacher controls a classroom. Each factor can be used in different ways to help manage a lesson or improve another factor. For example, certain class layouts can help with improving rapport within the class and also allow for easier pairing of students. Knowing your students, especially their names, can help a lot in managing the classroom. By improving each factor, teachers can better manage classrooms.
