Unit 4 teaches us about the different types of tenses and the different ways in which the are used. Tenses are forms of a verb that takes to show the time it happened. The three main tenses are Past Tense, Present Tense and Future Tense.
Present tense are things that are true when the words are spoken or written, for example She goes to school.
Past tense are things that were true before the words were spoken or written. She went to school being the example
Future tenses are the things that will be true after the words are spoken or written, for example She will go to school.
Throughout my reading I was astonished to learn that these tenses take on a broader scope, simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous which gives tenses as present simple and past continuous to name a few.
