This unit discusses the major factors you need to consider prior to making a lesson plan. I have learned that as a new teacher you should keep the plan simple and flexible. I can imagine for new teachers that it can be hard to estimate where a lesson might go wrong. I think that if you keep the lesson plan flexible the teacher has room to improvise especially if the activity doesn't go as planned.
