This unit illuminated some of the striking similarities between the future tenses and some present tenses, including the present simple and the present continuous. I think that teaching the differences between future simple, future perfect, future continuous, and future perfect continuous will be more straightforward (after having reviewed the past tense unit, which was more unfamiliar to me). Highlighting the common ground between the tenses or in pairs - including predictions, in some cases - will be helpful as a starting point.
