Unit 6 discussed the use of past tense verbs. The unit covered past tense verb forms including the simple past tense, past continuous verbs, past perfect verbs and past perfect continuous verbs. The unit provided example activities that could be employed in the classroom to teach each concept as well as common errors/mistakes that student make using these verb forms. Also, the unit covered how to form the simple past form of common irregular verbs. One thing that stuck out to me during this lesson was the emerging patterns that I saw for forming the various verb forms. This will be helpful for me as I teach the various verb forms and learn about future tense verb forms.
